Major new radio interview now available
David’s interview with Kate Evans at Australia’s Radio National was broadcast on Monday 16 February and the interview is now available online. Listen to the whole programme, or go through to about 28 minutes to the segment about David. It runs about 17 minutes in all.
From the Radio National website:
Australian writer David Rain lives in London, where he teaches writing and lives a life that is a very long way from the small-town of his latest novel, Volcano Street.
It’s set in the early 1970s, with the Vietnam War a distant background. Two young girls are sent to live with relatives in the not-particularly-welcoming town of Crater Lakes.
David Rain spoke to Kate Evans from a studio in London.
